Welcome to the Ridge View Highland fold. Our girls are the foundation of our growing breeding program, with a focus on quality genetics, sound structure, excellent temperament and the future of the breed.
Ciara
Dun Highland Heifer – P Grade
Ciara, affectionately known as Care Bear, is a dun Highland heifer approaching her first birthday. She has the most gentle, soft nature and is an absolute character who loves to play.
Her sweet temperament is one of the qualities we love most about her, and we’re excited to watch her continue to grow as part of the Ridge View Fold.
Lilibet
Red Highland Heifer – P Grade
Lilibet, affectionately known as Lil Lil, is a red Highland heifer born in May 2025. She loves nothing more than having her chin and the side of her face scratched- although when she’s had enough, she’ll give you a gentle nudge of her head to let you know!
She absolutely loves her food and has already decided she is in charge of Ciara. 😂 Her beautiful, perfectly growing horns are becoming one of her standout features, and we can’t wait to see how they develop as she matures.
Fiadh
Dark dun Highland Cow – P Grade
Due 27 September 2026
Fiadh, affectionately known as Fi or Fi Fi, is the newest addition to the Ridge View fold. Born in October 2023, she is dark dun Highland cow and is expecting her first Ridge View calf, due 27 September 2026.
Fiadh is quiet and still very vary of us, and we’re taking the time to build her trust at her own pace. She is yet to let us brush her like Ciara and Lilibet, although we’re sure that will come with time.
Despite her quiet nature with people, there is no doubt about Fiadh’s position within the fold. She is the boss. She only needs to move her head or make the slightest movement, and the girls know to move aside. 😂
We look forward to welcoming Fiadh’s first calf and watching her settle further into life at Ridge View.
